How we went from making soap in our kitchen to making soap for you

It all started about 5 years ago as a hobby.  I had always wanted to make my own soap. The idea sounded fun but honestly a little overwhelming.   After many “soap nights” my girls and I started to get the hang of things and honestly, we were having fun.  Pretty soon we had more soap than we could possibly use so we started giving our soap as gifts, Birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, you name it if it required a gift, we gave soap. I didn’t take long for them to confirm what we knew all along…. This soap is AMAZING! And they kept asking where they could get more!    We were told over and over that we should sell our soap.   Let’s be honest life was busy my girls were still in school, and I was fully immersed in an insurance career.   Selling soap was not on the agenda.

It wasn’t until life did a 360 and everything we knew changed!  We up and decided to buy a ranch in the heart of Mississippi.  One daughter got married and the other graduated and I said a much-needed goodbye to the P&C insurance world.  So now what?   Our life had been full of challenges, that’s another novel. In short, I am a pancreatic cancer survivor and Belle continues to recover from a serious equestrian accident.  Both incidences changed our outlook on life.  It didn’t take long for us to realize that life is too short, and we needed to do more of what we love so we did!

Reality is we love soap and everything about it! 

 We love the thrill of formulating new batches to the lessons we have learned with the failed batches. 

Everyday is a new adventure full of love, laughs and maybe a few lost hairs 😊
